Children ordinarily receive instruction for First Reconciliation and the reception of their First Holy Communion in their regular Parish School of Religion courses.
If your child goes to a Catholic school, they may receive some instruction, but it is generally required that they receive sacramental preparation in the parish where they are registered.
If your child hasn't been registered for Parish School of Religion, please call our office.
Please Note: If a child is over the age of seven, they will be entered into the Rite of Christian Initiation of Children, the regular process for bringing a child, whom Canon Law considers of the age of reason, into full communion (Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist) with the Roman Catholic Faith.Images & Video
